What to Expect
The IDFX Exam is where interior designers build the foundation of everything that comes later.
The focus is on building confidence in programming, conceptual design, schematic design, and Health, Safety, and Welfare topics exactly as outlined in the CIDQ 2026 Blueprint.
The course follows a structured weekly calendar running from January through March (or July through September), so you always know what to study and when to study it. Built-in catch-up time and lighter weekends are intentionally included to help you stay consistent without burning out.
No guessing. No random studying. No overwhelming piles of information.
Each lesson is broken down into simplified explanations, real-life applications, illustrations, diagrams, and practice exercises designed specifically for the way the NCIDQ Exam asks questions.
Most importantly, the course is designed to help you stop memorizing disconnected facts and start understanding how interior design concepts work together in real projects - exactly the mindset needed to succeed on the NCIDQ Exam.
Whether this is your first attempt or you are rebuilding your foundation after struggling with the exam before, the goal is the same:
Build confidence. Strengthen understanding. Pass the exam.
